ABOUT NVEH

NVEH, the Dutch Association of eHealth, is the main association for e-Health and telemedicine in the Netherlands. Quality in care is central to its mission. NVEH was established in February 2005.

Today NVEH represents the Netherlands at the European level in the International Society for Telemedicine & eHealth (ISfTeH).

The objectives of NVEH are

• To maintain and improve the quality of the eHealth product in the Netherlands
• To the promote the interests of her members
• To contribute to the development of policy and standards in eHealth on behalf of health professionals and patients
• To act as a point of mutual interest in eHealth for patients’ organizations, public authorities, advisory bodies, health insurance companies, health professionals, industry, research, education and trade organizations
• To inspire science and education in the field of eHealth
• To offer a platform for conference and consultation on eHealth matters and exchange knowledge, skills and research outcomes
• To participate in scientific research in the field of eHealth
• To organize and endorse scientific meetings
• To be a platform for interaction between eHealth producers
• To collaborate with strategic partners to improve and secure the quality of eHealth services
• To collaborate with international professional and trade organizations in the field of eHealth and telemedicine

The Journal of Telemedicine & Telecare is the official Journal of the Dutch Association of eHealth.
